SkillBridge Cybersecurity Engineer

NOTE: This is specific to Active Duty personnel interested in SkillBridge and located in the Lompoc, CA area.

Paragon Cyber Solutions has an immediate opening for those ready for an exciting and dynamic career as an Cybersecurity Engineer to join other smart, talented, and dedicated engineers that pride themselves in analyzing the most difficult challenges for the launch-test range while developing and delivering solutions to meet the needs of the US Space Force and their customers. This opportunity designs, develops, modifies, evaluates, and implements new and exiting Telemetry hardware systems, leading the technical aspects of a multi-disciplined project team.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for support of, and coordinating with, other Engineers, Architects, and teams in implementing a comprehensive cloud and application cybersecurity program in a DevSecOps environment.
• Hands on experience with ESXi, VMWare, Linux, Windows AD, SCAP, and remediating STIG findings.
• Review, assess, and create documentation including Statement of Objectives (SOO)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in implementing and enforcing application cybersecurity and vulnerability management.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years or more of Cybersecurity related experience.
• Understanding of RMF, eMASS, POA&Ms, ACAS, and Vulnerability Management.
• Experience conducting Information Systems vulnerability assessment, risk mitigation, and application of mitigation strategies.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II Certified (Security+ CE or equivalent) required at higher.
