Join our growing team and make a difference!SUMMARY:The NASA SEWP Program has an immediate opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Windows Server Administrator to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of our Windows environments. Strong experience in Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory are required, to provide the highest level of communication to our customers. This individual will manage and maintain the virtual and physical infrastructure with a team of Systems Administrators, Database Administrators, Software Developers and Cybersecurity Engineers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain and manage servers, hardware, software, and network components.Maintain, configure and support VCenter, vSphere, VMware ESXi and NSX Enterprise.Maintain, configure and support Windows 2016 Datacenter, Windows 2012 R2 and Exchange 2016 Standard. Write code in Windows PowerShell 5.0 and batch Strong scripting and packaging experience for administration, automation of processes and issue resolution.Perform network backup and recovery with Cohesity.Troubleshoot servers in the Nutanix and Cohesity virtual environments.Perform imaging of servers utilizing common imaging tools.Perform patching, security hardening, and automated deployments.Monitor help desk issues, perform troubleshooting and issue resolution.Document all service processes, procedures, and system configuration in a document repository.Work directly with the customer to ensure the customer’s IT needs are met.Evaluate hardware and software, with the goal of improving and increasingly automating operations.Provide emergency on-site/remote support after normal business hours.Resolve ITSM support tickets for internal and external users and, when necessary, contact external resources in an appropriate time frame to manage the troubleshooting and resolution of complex client issues.Execute planned evening and weekend maintenance tasks. Provide purchase recommendations for server, desktop, laptop equipment and software.Track, manage, and ensure projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner.Mentor and passionately share knowledge with junior team members.Ensure the security of Windows hosts and provide artifacts and documents as needed to Continuous Diagnostic Mitigation (CDM).REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related IT discipline.
