Title – Senior Product Manager – Network Security & Secure SDWAN

Location : Bangalore, India

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life
  • Drive Product development for Sonicwall’s Firewall, Network Security and Secure SDWAN portfolio with a team of world-class engineers and developers.
  • Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution
  • Research small firewall verticals: size, market requirements (performance, interface, form factor).
  • Market research
  • Work with Engineering to review product and high-level design documents, create MRDs and track execution of releases
  • Develop and demonstrate minor integrations or PoCs to increase the value of the platform
  • Assist with design, deployment and integration guides for products, solutions, and reference architectures
  • Review potential partner relationships for the platform integrations and work with the BizDev team to enable strategic alliances
  • Maintain a demo environment and develop digital content to highlight the value of the platform and integrations
  • Drive competitive strategy and use those inputs in roadmap planning to create sustainable competitive advantages
  • Collaborate with other PMs to drive the cloud platform strategy to enabled unified management and security operations
  • Talk to sales, partners, and customers, as well perform research etc. to define and build confidence in the product roadmap
  • Some travel required to support field and marketing activity

Requirements:

  • Ability to assess the market and current capabilities to define a product roadmap
  • Ability to work collaboratively within and across department teams
  • “Can-Do” attitude, willingness to roll up your sleeves and ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong understanding of the market focused drivers, intra-perineurial thinking
  • Proven analytical skills to understand metrics and comfortable with data
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be comfortable with customers and internal audiences
  • Prior experience in finance, or similar growth or product management roles in a high-growth environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within and across department teams

Education and Experience:

  • At least 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 6 years’ experience; or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience in Support, Sales Engineering, Technical Marketing or Technical Product Management preferred
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Degree in Engineering, Quantitative field, or equivalent degree preferred
