Senior Enterprise Security Engineer

About the Role:

The Enterprise Security team works with our international-based IT team to secure our corporate assets and third-party infrastructure to allow our employees to operate securely. You will work closely with our Business Information Security Officer, IT team, and product security to design and implement strategies to secure our corporate infrastructure.  You will directly report to the Director of Product Security in North America. We organize our security program along the NIST CSF, and we are increasing our investments in the Enterprise security space. You will be the subject matter expert for securing our corporate assets (e.g., Computers, IoT, Authentication/Authorization-SSO, SaaS integrations). You will transcend legacy approaches and redefine the best Enterprise Security. 

You Will:

• Tag alongside the IT Team to review their corporate infrastructure and provide consultancy services. 
• Contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions that support enterprise-wide security initiatives
• Perform risk assessments and threat modeling exercises to identify risks in home-grown and third-party services and applications
• Develop enterprise security standards, guidelines, and policies
• Create and evolve security tooling to secure our corporate infrastructure and development environments
• Encourage a culture of security and customer privacy at Remitly.

You Have:

• 5+ Years of experience in Enterprise Security (e.g., securing/hardening devices, SaaS applications)
• Write quality, robust, testable code in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Rust, etc)
• Experience communicating risks and resulting mitigations to business owners
• Experience with SaaS, Cloud Security (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), or OS security
• Experience collecting and analyzing security logs and related telemetry
• Experience leading projects and roll-outs
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and associated technologies.
• Experience performing system or network architecture reviews
• Experience assessing risks related to SaaS applications, including driving improvements from vendors
• Experience securing operating systems (Linux, MacOS, Windows, and ChromeOS)
• Experience with big data tools and methodologies (e.g., SQL and data warehouse technology)

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $159,090 -$210,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
