Security Solution Architect

As a Security Solution Architect, you will be a key member of the Customer Success and Services Team. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our largest Enterprise customers and will work to find solutions to our customers complex technical challenges. Internally you’ll work with Customer Success, Program Management, Product Management, DevOps, Technical Support to build solutions that promote automation and adoption.

What you’ll do

  • Work with key stakeholders at Security Compass including Product Management, Technical Support, Services, Research, and Operations to stay abreast of product enhancements, communicate customer needs, and deliver solutions that help clients meet their goals.
  • Act as a strong customer advocate and provide client feedback to Product Management.
  • Be a product expert who is first in line to learn new features and pass on product knowledge to colleagues and clients alike.
  • You will consult with large enterprise customers on their DevSecOps programs and develop security and automation solutions.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • A strong technical background, with a degree/diploma in Application Security, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years experience in a support, DevOps, or technical account management role. Preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • A high degree of curiosity that leads you to naturally ask probing questions, uncover customer needs, and find solutions to novel problems.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to decompose complex processes into understandable components.
  • Proficiency in automating and optimizing processes.
  • Competent in team building and team communication strategies.
  • Experience with common CI/CD processes and related tools such as, Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Experience with common languages such as Python, Bash/Shell, JavaScript, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with common container orchestration technologies and platforms such as Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, EKS, and OpenShift.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V.
  • Cloud platform certification for AWS, Azure, or GCP would be an asset.
  • Previous experience with the following is beneficial:
    • Application security and risk assessment.
    • Agile software development.
    • FedRAMP, ATO, NIST 800-53, CNSSI, STIG, and similar regulations, standards, and control baseline handling.
