We would love to hear from you!The RoleWorking with the Security Operations Manager, you will be part of a collaborative multi-functional agile team, working across a multi-domain company to proactively respond to cyber events and incidents.Key Responsibilities include:Security Monitoring:- Work with both in-house Security Operations Centre (SOC) and MDR Partner service to ensure timely detection and alerting of security events.- Develops and acts on threat intelligence pertaining Cyber Security industry threats, trends and disclosures. In particular cyber threats, and legal and regulatory compliance in an 'on-prem' and cloud-hosted application service delivery environments.- Drive automation of security operations workflow by collaborating with the Security Engineering team to integrate security solutions into real-time monitoring as well as automating detection and response capabilities.Incident Response:- Contribute to ongoing improvements and uplift to Security Incident Management and Incident Response capability including re-design of processes and procedures encompassing tiers, severity, triage and communication.- Record, document, and report security incidents and breaches.- Develop, maintain and test Incident Response procedures/playbooks.What will make you a fit:- Proven experience in a security engineering or SOC analyst role, detecting, responding and recovery of client-facing cloud-based services, or similar large-scale complex enterprise solutions.- You should be excited by DFIR, Cyber Kill Chain and/or MITRE ATT&CK framework, and possess the ability to lead security incident investigations in a fast-paced agile environment.- Your experience securing cloud-based services (preferably hosted in AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud environments) combined with insight into vulnerability management and scanning tools will assist in this role.- Fundamental to the role is the ability to configure and operate SIEM and threat-hunting tooling, implementing application/infrastructure security best practices.
