Security Engineer

We are currently looking for a strong Security Engineer to join our rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of Stellar Cyber’s product in depth;
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK Framework, Cyber Kill Chain, Unify Kill Chain;
• Research and reproduce real-world attacks with adversary simulation tools;
• Craft, maintain, and continuously tune detection rules used in Stellar Cyber’s product;
• Build Stellar Cyber’s red-team infrastructure for security research and customer demos;
• Collaborate with customers to investigate and understand security incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study, and three years of experience or more in the security industry is preferred;
• Experience with threat detections, detection tuning, and threat hunting in the security operation settings;

• Experience with penetration testing with adversary simulation tools such as Metasploit, Atomic Red Team, and CALDERA;
• Experience with scripting and modifying existing tools to fit with projects needs with Python, Go, bash, Powershell, C/C++;
• Experience with Docker, VM and virtualization technologies in general;
• Comprehensive knowledge on networking, operating systems, web servers, firewalls, proxies, and cloud systems;

• Willingness and enthusiasm to keep up with new technologies and tools;
• Proficient in text-based communication (e.g., Slack) and can succinctly write technical documentation.
