The AWS Security Assurance Engineering team is responsible for scaling AWS's ability to exceed the security and compliance expectations of our regulators, auditors, and customers globally. We own driving highly complex security and compliance campaigns across AWS. We design and build services that stand up to the scrutiny of external regulators and inspection by AWS's most security-sensitive customers.We are a multidisciplinary team comprised of software engineers, security engineers, program managers, data engineers, and compliance specialists. If you are looking for an opportunity to think big, invent, experiment, build, and have a material impact on cloud security and compliance, this is it.As a Software Development Manager (SDM) on our team you will build a team of software engineers and lead them to develop internal services that identify and monitor security/compliance-relevant attributes of key infrastructure and business functions. You will work with senior security and compliance leaders to define the strategy and roadmap for scaling assessments of AWS services and expanding our ability to continuously monitor key security functions. You will have autonomy over how your team operates while maintaining a high standard for engineering excellence.
