Principal Product Manager - Head of Cybersecurity Workload

With Snowflakes platform and the incredible ecosystem of Cybersecurity applications built to run on Snowflake we see a chance to transform the industry. We are looking for an experienced Product Leader to drive the growth of Snowflakes Cybersecurity workload. The person responsible for the Cybersecurity workload will work across the company and industry and build a significant market and business. 

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the vision for the cloud/workloads/cybersecurity/">next generation cybersecurity stack on Snowflake, and helping CISO’s and security teams better protect their companies by making use of Snowflake and its partner ecosystem.  This will involve:

• Working with the world’s best security teams to understand their needs, and help solve their problems
• Build relationships with the top security software companies, both established and startups, and find ways for Snowflake’s platform and cloud to accelerate their products and growth
• Expanding and driving Snowflake’s  vision for the entire cybersecurity technology industry with Snowflake as a core component
• Defining the overall product strategy for Snowflake for security teams, including platform features and cybersecurity-specific capabilities that Snowflake will need to build, as well as the right roles for partners to fill.  You’ll also work closely with our engineering teams to deliver on those features and capabilities.
• Evangelize that vision, getting partners and customers bought in, and ultimately drive cybersecurity use cases as one of the core workloads at Snowflake

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strategic understanding of the cybersecurity landscape
• Technical understanding of the different technologies and their strengths and weaknesses
• Strong empathy for CISO, their security teams, and their business goals and constraints
• Demonstrated ability to define, articulate, and drive a vision for adapting a market to a new technology
• Experience building, shipping, and scaling successful products, ideally targeted at security teams

This is a unique and highly impactful role.  The best candidates will have spent time as product managers in cybersecurity companies, or as leaders within cybersecurity organizations building next-generation cybersecurity stacks, or even as founders or CEOs of cybersecurity companies.
