Elastic Security for Cloud is a new and exciting use case within Elastic Security. Customers are moving their workloads faster than ever to the cloud which brings about interesting challenges to tackle. We are taking a unique approach which combines the power of the Elastic platform and analytics to deliver a differentiated Cloud Security offering to our millions of users.
About The Role
Elastic Security for Cloud is looking for an outstanding product professional to join the Elastic Cloud Security team and help accelerate the roadmap and vision of building a fantastic cloud security offering within Elastic Security. The Cloud Security team is on a journey to build an integrated offering which combines security analytics with CNAPP (Cloud Native Application Protection). This role will lead the product vision, roadmap and execution of Cloud Posture and Vulnerability management areas of the product.
What You Will Be Doing
- You will dive deep into the product areas of Cloud Security and other parts of Elastic to craft a vision on how CSPM and Vulnerability fits into the bigger picture.
- You will interact with existing and new customers on a regular basis to understand how they are using the Elastic Security products today and how Cloud Security will help them.
- You will conduct market research to understand the broader Cloud Security space and form an opinion on how Elastic fits in.
- You will partner closely with the Engineering and Design teams to write clear and concise product requirements and work together to build great solutions.
- You will have an eye for polished user experiences, thereby actively involved in prototyping, and maintaining an iterative approach to feature design and implementation.
What you bring along:
- 3+ years of practical product management experience, shipping products and making an impact from start to end in the areas of devops, security or infrastructure.
- Ability to understand and distill complex technical concepts into clear requirements and user journeys with an emphasis on user experience.
- Technical understanding of public clouds like AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes
- Passionate about security
- Passionate about solving unique problems combining data and security use cases.
It Is Great, But Not Required
- Hands-on experience in building a Cloud Security product
- Hands-on experience with the Elastic stack, open source tools like Trivy, and Compliance technologies like CIS, NIST.
