Lead Windows Cybersecurity Researcher

Two Six Technologies is looking to add a Lead Windows Cybersecurity Researcher to our team. This role will be responsible for developing and deploying capabilities for our customers.  You will also be responsible for integrating the work from reverse engineers and researchers into bespoke capabilities for clients.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Serve as the primary vulnerability researcher on a small, highly motivated team
• Apply knowledge of Windows based systems to help solve complex mission challenges
• Provide mentoring to more junior security researchers on discovering and productizing bugs
• Lead capability development and testing for a client mission critical application.
• Triage and scope ad-hoc tasks from the customer

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 Years experience reading/writing x86 assembly.
• 5 Years experience developing or reverse engineering applications which make substantial use of the Windows API.
• Demonstrated experience in developing testing harnesses for fuzzing
• Understanding of exploit mitigations such as DEP and ASLR
• Demonstrated experience using reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro and Ghidra to find exploitable bugs within Windows applications
• Experience in developing proof-of-concept exploits from performed research
• Understanding of and experience in developing and defeating new and advanced security techniques

Nice to haves:

• Experience leading a team of security researchers
• Experience with identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities in complex applications
• Ability to rapidly find bearings in unfamiliar code bases

Clearance Requirements:

• This position requires a TS/SCI with the ability to obtain polygraph.
