Lead Database Administrator (SQL)

You would be responsible for maintaining the organization’s SQL Server based database systems, including backup, monitoring, performance tuning and capacity planning within our Cyber and Business Systems team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Maintain and manage Microsoft SQL Server database systems
• Setup database backups, design and test disaster recovery procedures
• Maintain various ETL processes that ingest data from various data sources, and push data to other systems
• Monitor system-level and application-level health
• Conduct performance tuning, query optimization and capacity planning
• Participate in deployments of database changes and SSIS packages

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• 5 years of work experience as database administrator
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, including complex stored procedures, views, functions
• Ability to work independently
• Fluent in English
