Information Security Analyst

WWC Global is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support the Pequot Community of Companies (PCC) Shared Services Team. As the Information Security Analyst, you will review IT policy and system configurations of the PCC. You will work with the Director of IT and other IT team members to create and modify policy aligned to pertinent DoD compliance guidelines such as NIST 800-171. You will complete tasks designed to ensure security of the organization's systems and information assets such as Azure Active Directory to better align to pertinent security compliance rules and guidelines.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare for and conduct required activities in compliance with Federal Guidelines (FCI, FISMA, NIST 800-171, etc.).
  • Develop and create policy and procedure documentation for the PCC. Develop IT policy to be uniform within the community of companies.
  • Deliver security enhancements to protect computer systems and data with minimal supervision. This includes analyzing, testing, documenting, implementing, and configuring new security processes and technologies.

Expected salary range: $65,000 - $80,000

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

  • 0-10% / Minimal travel expected.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Information Sciences or Cyber Security.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT role
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain clearance.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Okta MFA and Okta integration.
  • Experience and knowledge with Firewalls, vulnerability management, Anti-virus, DLP, RDC and other cyber security and information security tools.
  • Familiarity with NIST 800 standards.
  • Local to the Huntsville, AL area.
  • Experience developing SharePoint sites and features (e.g. Web Parts).
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
