The Info Security Prof Sr Grp Mgr is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks for a cluster of countries in Latin America. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.

In addition to that this role will execute the Fusion Center strategies within ICG lines of business for increased business demand in supporting Cyber threats mitigation related activities by providing business-contextual intelligence products and actionable information and Cyber Table-top exercises.Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with cross-functional areas including Business, Technology, and Compliance stakeholders and serve as a security subject-matter expert 
  • Promote awareness and provide consistent interpretation of security policy/standards/processes to business and technology teams 
  • Utilize a global risk management model to analyze emerging security threats and define solutions to mitigate exposure
  • Advise and provide direction to the business and IT leaders on risk management decisions
  •  Serve as a contact to report suspected or actual breach of confidentiality, integrity, or availability of Citi information
  •  Manage risk by analyzing the root cause of security issues, determining compensating controls, and driving remediation
  • Support Global Information Security policies, standards, and initiatives development and implementation.  
  • Communicate effectively with the business, technology, and others within the security organization 
  • Oversee resource management and work allocation, managing a team, and acting as an advisor/coach to new or lower level analysts
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Deliver actionable Intelligence to businesses 
  • Provide non-Citi-specific guidance to clients in the event of major Cyber incident or vulnerability.
  • Deliver client-centric products and services, in conjunction with CIC and business-aligned ISOs
  • Facilitate Cyber Threat Exercises for ICG businesses in conjunction with CSFC
  • Deliver Business-aligned Communication and Awareness
  • Support businesses in clients and/or vendor Cyber breaches and protect them

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in information security with a in-depth understanding of information security disciplines and domains
  • Additional certifications preferred (Ex: CISA, CISM, CISSP)
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Strong inter-personal skills and ability to influence outcomes in a collaborative environment
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

This position is required to work in the office at least three days each week.
