Embedded Senior Security Consultant

Based onsite with a multinational healthcare company, the embedded consultant will support in developing security programs for their business in India. The consultant will align global practices with the prevalent local norms and enhance the overall safety and security posture of their operations and assets in India. The consultant will provide additional support for transitioning and establishing smooth operations in their new permanent office location.

Responsibilities will involve:

  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards.
  • Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve security strategies.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
  • Conduct security awareness training for employees.
  • Investigate security incidents and provide incident response and remediation plans.
  • Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Evaluate and recommend security products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in security management, law enforcement, criminal justice, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in security management, with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing physical security plans and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and other security equipment.
  • Relevant industry certifications and leadership training.
  • Excellent, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Available to commence employment in Pune within 1-month or thereabouts.
