As the Director of Information Security, you will fill an immediate need for an experienced professional to help guide the growth and maturation of Panorama’s information security program. This position will require a hands-on approach and the ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running. Your immediate top three priorities will be prioritizing initiatives within Information Security, staffing and inspiring a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Full accountability for the Information Security Program, including security operations, risk and intelligence, data loss prevention, security architecture, identity and access management, program management, incident response, and governance.
  • Execute day-to-day operations of all information security operations, managing security incidents, monitoring security alerts, and responding to security threats.
  • Immediate assessment of key risk areas and work required to address gaps.
  • Fill in as needed to supplement the Security Engineering team on a variety of Application and Platform security initiatives, including hands-on scripting, triaging, and system configuration reviews.
  • Develop staffing and hiring plan for Information Security staff.
  • Identification and execution of Information Security key performance indicators and strategies for attainment.
  • Mentorship and guidance of existing Information Security staff.
  • Manage and oversee security vendors and the associated relationships.
  • Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 3+ years of experience building information security programs at growth-stage companies.
  • 5+ years as a strategic leader and people manager.
  • Expertise in Platform and Application Security with strong GRC, Security Operations, and Enterprise Security experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of information security, including deep expertise in security policy, risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance regulations.
  • General knowledge of FERPA, PPRA, and COPPA.
  • Experience preparing organizations for SOC2.
  • The ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running.
  • A willingness and ability to play a hands-on role..
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated desire to be a continuous learner.

Base Salary: $171,500 to $228,700

The “Base Salary” range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations. The determination of this anticipated Base Salary range involves the consideration of many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: unique skill sets, experience, training, performance, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. Our anticipated Base Salary determination is just one component of Panorama’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual bonus or commission awards, equity awards, as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
