DevSecOps Engineer

SciTec, Inc is a dynamic small business with the mission to deliver Advanced Sensor Data Exploitation technologies in support of National Security and Defense. SciTec has an immediate opportunity for an experienced DevSecOps engineer to manage integration, scanning, and deployment of multiple applications into orchestrated frameworks. The DevSecOps engineer will work with development teams to orchestrate multiple deployments to development, test and operational environments.

Requirements

The following minimum qualifications are required for the position:

• At least three years professional experience building and executing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), such as GitLab-ci or Jenkins

• Strong experience maintaining deployment environments for development, test, and production
• Experience with software supply chain security
• At least one year professional experience using Linux operating systems
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences

• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:

• Strong experience with software vulnerability scanning with static and dynamic code analysis

• Strong experience with package artifact management using JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, or similar
• Experience designing and developing application container deployment solutions using docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience with software vulnerability remediation
• Development experience in Python, C++, or JavaScript
• Experience with version control using Git

• Systems and service administration in a linux environment, including the installation and maintenance of applications supporting CI/CD like GitLab, Jenkins, etc.
• Security+ Certification
