Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Compliance Contrast's CISO organization, Customer Success, Legal, Engineering, Human Resources, and other internal stakeholders to continuously improve upon a comprehensive privacy program consistent with relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (including GDPR-UK), California Privacy Act, and maturing operations in Asia
  • Manage, in partnership with Compliance, the implementation of agreed-upon Privacy policies and processes
  • Partner with Compliance to communicate the company’s policies and procedures to employees and business partners through training and awareness activities
  • Implement privacy program risk assessments and work with internal resources on mitigation and remediation plans
  • Collaborate with businesses to ensure that any new privacy requirements are considered during the design phase of new technology and/or products, marketing, and service initiatives
  • Prepare and present clear, accurate, and timely communication and reports on privacy risks, metrics, and privacy-related compliance activities
  • Liaise with Compliance as to critical topics for internal communications and keep a regular schedule of privacy content for awareness and improvement
  • Conduct Data Impact Assessments/refreshes as needed

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years experience in the management of data privacy within a global company
  • Knowledge of global privacy laws, regulations, and best practices (Canada, Europe, Israel, Japan, U.K, and the U.S)
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in creative, efficient, and cost-effective ways and through strategic prioritization of competing interests
  • Ability to develop professional presentations, reports, and business correspondence
  • An ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • An ability to work collaboratively and successfully in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Knowledge of standards, laws, and regulatory environment and the impact  these have on the administration of an effective data privacy compliance program
  • A strong reputation for integrity and ethics
  • Ability to respond effectively and discretely to sensitive inquiries or complaints, including, but not limited to, a thorough understanding of GDPR in general and Data Subject requests in particular
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, in partnership with compliance, a detailed Data Privacy program
  • Experience with using a GRC tool
  • Preferences:
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or equivalent Data Privacy Certification
  • IAPP Member

What We OfferSalary and Other CompensationThis position's standard base pay range is $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually. This position is also eligible for a VCP and equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
