Sigma Defense Systems seeking for diverse, talented, and highly motivated professionals to continue its mission of securing a global critical infrastructure. An ACAS administrator who leads with the implementation and sustainment of government-mandated Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) system, which is comprised of Security Center, Nessus Scanner and the Nessus Network Monitor. Personnel will provide automated network vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, and develop a network discovery matrix. Responsibilities include technical and functional requirements gathering, completing design documentation, and installation, configuration, and sustainment of the solution. This is NOT a remote/hybrid position.

Requirements

  • US Citizens only (no dual citizenship), and candidates is preferred to be local to the Fort Bragg areas.
  • Infrastructure Security Vulnerability Management Operations T2 - Intermediate
  • Integrated Security Risk Management T2 - Intermediate
  • 4+ years’ experience in ACAS
  • DoD Directive 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management, NIST 800 Special Publications, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), and knowledge of current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining the security configuration baselines for Windows and Linux platforms, networking equipment, cloud technologies, and custom applications (i.e., Minimum Benchmarks: CIS, STIGS).
  • Provide subject matter expertise, advice and assistance in the planning, implementation, and accreditation of technology and solutions.
  • Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01 M for Information Assurance Management Level 2 (IAM Level II).
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Education: High School Diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience, or, BS Degree in any of the following: Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Certifications and Experience: ACAS Certification, Security+, Network+, CCNP, Lenox, ITIL, CYSA and at least one Computing Environment Certification i.e., UNIX, Microsoft, etc. Experience in a large Data Center environment is preferred.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Manage remediation efforts and report on the status of control deficiencies.
  • Provide security expertise to business units and key stakeholders.
  • Provide timely status updates/reporting on assessments and assigned projects.
  • The System Administrator is responsible for:
  • Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
  • Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
  • Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
  • Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
  • May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually.
