Cyber Security Manager

Job Brief:

Responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Umniah’s network and systems by implementing the appropriate controls and monitoring for any deviations from the corporate policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Cyber Security Activities in Umniah in term of process developments, review, technology implementation and operation, and people skills development and awareness.
  • Oversee information security audits, whether performed by Security or third-party personnel.
  • Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and major changes to the information security environment.
  • Monitor Umniah networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.
  • Develop and direct implementation of security standards and best practices within Umniah.
  • Review and enhance Umniah Current MSSP Capabilities in term of process, people and technology .
  • Work with the enterprise team and sales team to support sales opportunities and opened leads.
  • Support analysis of sales performance and pipeline, developing partner specific insights and recommendations for initiatives to improve overall performance.
  • Work with product management and marketing to balance the needs of Umniah partnership with business constraints.
  • Manage Umniah Cyber Security academy by developing the materials , conduct the sessions and Training staffs.

Leadership / Management:

  • Manage subordinates’ learning & development requirements and ensure that it is successfully delivered and provide related feedback to the management.
  • Assign roles and work load distribution, set team objectives and conduct regular informal one-on-one meetings to deliver personalized feedback and provide support to attain goals.
  • Conduct formal performance evaluation process for the subordinates in order to optimize workplace productivity.
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, evaluation process of new employees.
  • Provide guidance and delegate responsibilities to subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks to support succession planning process.
  • Manage subordinates' administrational requirements.
  • Assure that all subordinates are following Umniah’s policies and procedures and highlight any violation for the code of conduct.
  • Manage economic, efficient and effective budget plan and control in alignment with the department and Umniah’s strategy.
  • Ensure that employees are engaged and motivated through creating a respectful and trusting relationship with them and communicating Umniah values.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in management by accommodating individual employee needs such as adjustable schedules or remote work options.

Requirements

Education Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field

Level of Experience Advanced Experience in Information Security.

Certifications & Licensure :

Essential:

  • CISSP
  • CISA
  • CRISC

Desirable:

  • TOGAF
  • ITIL
  • Vendor-specific certificates

Tools & Systems :

Essential:

  • Firewalls
  • SIEM
  • Vulnerability assessment tools

Desirable:
