Citrix Epic HealthCare Engineer III- US

Job Summary:  The role of the Citrix Engineer is to maintain the current and future Citrix Epic Healthcare customer environments. You will be responsible for ensuring that all environments are operationally available 24/7. You will also be responsible for maintaining Citrix images using provisioning service technology for the distribution of Epic Healthcare software installs/updates/upgrades, and applicable 3rd party software integrations. In addition to the role, you will review monthly OS level and 3rd party vulnerability scans and perform remediation(s) identified by the security vendor. Monthly Microsoft vulnerability patching to the image will also be required Work Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate in daily operation support for the Epic Healthcare customers.  
• Complete requests that meet our defined SLO for Epic Healthcare customers.  
• Provide application level troubleshooting expertise that is within the Citrix virtualized environment.  
• Maintain the resolution of incidents that meet our defined SLA for Epic Healthcare customers. 
• Participate in ITSM related policy process. 
• Respond to emergency and after-hour issues that are related to the Citrix H&D (Hyperspace & Desktop) work-stream. 
• Understand  Kuiper, System Pulse, Hyperspace applications from an administrator level 
• Handle all the daily operations of the H&D components 
• Assist with managing the Citrix and VMware environments as needed 
• Lead Product Release management functions which may include develop & perform test plans, facilitate end user testing, and develop application validation scripts for ongoing operations team 
• VMWare experience 

Qualifications:

• Epic Certification in one or more W&SS workstream 
• Strong understanding of VMWare 
• Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) 
• Bachelors Degree or applicable experience

For applicants working in California, Colorado, Washington, or New York City, we are excited to share the base salary ranges for this position exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonus.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The anticipated starting pay range of California, Washington state and New York City applicants for this role is $104,300 - $138,800. The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $95,800-$126,600.
