The Ciso Security team at JFrog is  looking for an exceptional Application Security Team Lead who thrives on managing a team of application security- research engineers and working with development teams to secure our products.This is a hands-on job development-focused role to ensure JFrog products adhere to the stringent security requirements of our thousands of customers.

As an Application Security Team Lead at JFrog you will…

• Identify security risks and exposures, determine the causes of security violations and suggest procedures to prevent future incidents and improve security
• Manage and mentor a team of Application Security engineers, plan and execute a security program within an Agile environment
• Build champions and R&D education programs to empower engineering teams to build secure products
• Collaborate and have passion for working with colleagues to understand our products and improve the existing security infrastructure, while consulting with product teams, reviewing platform and service designs
• Lead the security pentest program, perform code reviews and threat modelling of the JFrog applications stack
• Demonstrate excellent judgment in prioritizing security efforts to mitigate the appropriate risks
• Train and mentor developers about security frameworks, testing, vulnerabilities, and best practices to ensure code compliance
• Evaluate new technologies and standards in the Application security domain

To be an Application Security Team Lead at JFrog you need…

• 3+ years of experience in leading team of 5+ high-performing engineers
• Proven experience coding in web application security- Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a true passion for educating others and achieving continuous improvement
• Experience with Supply Chain attacks and their remediation
• Significant experience in cloud security architecture and infrastructure
• Great communication and technical skills and the ability to motivate colleagues such as software engineers
• Presentation experience at industry events 
• Experience with microservices (Docker, K8S, Service Mesh) - An advantage
