Rackspace Technology is looking for Crisis Management Coordinator III.  This role is located out of our corporate office in San Antonio, Texas. Why chose Rackspace to grow your career?  Rackspace accelerates the value of the cloud during every phase of a customer’s digital transformation.  With our Fanatical Experience, we Embrace Technology, Empower Customers, and Deliver the Future.  Whether you are a Cloud Engineer / Architect, CyberSecurity professional, Account Manager, Sales or Practice Leader, your talent will help Rackspace continue our decades of expertise matched with thousands of experts.Crisis Management Coordinators are highly specialized employees with a focused responsibility on Crisis Management functions which are vital to the resiliency of Rackspace as an organization.  This individual will stand up Global Resiliency Programs for Rackspace.  This will include three pillars, Crisis Management, Business Continuity Planning, and Incident Management.  This individual will be focused on CM and BCP helping Rackspace establish the program while managing training and maintenance.  Key Responsibilities:• Working under the direction of the Crisis Manager and Director, Physical Security, you will oversee, maintain, and implement business continuity, crisis management and disaster recovery plans, strategies, and solutions across Rackspace.  • Responsible for the building and delivering Business Continuity, Emergency Response, and Crisis Management (BC/ER/CM) plans, developing and facilitating exercises designed to increase the resilience of Rackspace business operations, and participate in crisis management operations as directed. • Liaise with functional groups to develop effective working relationships, goals, plans, and exercises.  • Work with Enterprise IT disaster recovery experts to incorporate disaster recovery solutions into BC/CM plans.  • Maintain and update the Business Continuity/Crisis Management internal corporate One Wiki and develop awareness materials.  • Perform risk analyses for individual businesses to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.• Develop status reports (score cards/dashboards) on individual business preparedness and recoverability and prepare management summary reports.   • Support ISO 22301 auditing requirements for functional and business units. • Work across functional areas and business units to ensure company-wide adherence to, your built, Global Resiliency policy and the Crisis Management standard.Experience:• 3-4+ years of crisis management experience for a multi-national / global organization setting up programs for the ground up.  • Strong knowledge of Crisis Management frameworks and associated regulatory standards including ISO 22301. • Ability to analyze business processes and workflows and identify gaps and suggest enhancements to address deficiencies to increase preparedness and recoverability.  • Highly proficient in Crisis Notification Systems: SWN, Everbridge.  • Experienced in the management of Global Resiliency Programs.• Experience with Crisis Notification Systems of Everbridge, Fusion Risk Management, or similar CNSEducation and Certifications:• High School Diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED) required.• DRII Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) and/or IAEM Certified Emergency Manager (CEM).  Other dual Crisis Management Certifications of CBCP and CEM are acceptable.  Comprehensive Benefits:Rackspace Benefits for eligible Rackers include the following:• Medical, Dental, and Vision• Paid Time Off, Paid Voting Time, Paid Volunteer Time, and Paid Birthday Time Off• Matching 401K after 30 days, with full vestment your first day• Employee Stock Purchase Program• Global Corporate Bonus Plan• Extensive opportunities for continued professional development with training and certifications.Disclaimer:The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this classification.
