We are offering a 3-month internship for security engineers in 2024. The program is designed to give students actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity, an opportunity to secure software and interact with others in a real-world business environment. You will be part of our Security team, where you will work with a dedicated mentor and other teammates on a security project that adds value to our mission here at Guidewire while learning what it means to be a professional security engineer.
Intern Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity, with an expected graduation date from Fall 2024 to Spring 2025
- Programming in Java, Python, Java Script, Node.js, React
- Algorithms and object-oriented design
- Cloud native infrastructure – (scripting, AWS services like EKS, Aurora/RDS, VPC)
- Back end technologies – RESTful API concepts, Microservices
- Web-based applications and technologies OWASP secure coding practices and standards
