About the job

This position is needed to maintain Twilio's current and future security and compliance initiatives. You will work closely with leaders across the organization


In this role, you’ll:

  • Serve as a key member of the company’s Information Security Compliance and Engagement Team by supporting ongoing compliance activities and monitoring efforts across different regulations (GDPR, PCI, SOC 2, ISO/IEC, HIPAA, FedRAMP, etc.).
  • Manage multiple initiatives, including defining overall project scope, tracking project performance specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals, report ongoing status to Senior Leadership
  • Support evidence collection, and documentation in support of internal and external audits.
  • Engage with subject matter experts in order to develop, edit, and revise documentation including standard operating procedures, system security plans, and policies and procedures.
  • Manage timelines, project plans, status reports and statistics to ensure milestones, goals and commitments are met.

  • 3+ years of Compliance or Audit experience working with Industry regulations and standards (PCI, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, HIPAA, SOC2)
  • 3+ years of experience in project management in a technical field
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including defining overall project scope, tracking project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving abilities. 


  • Familiarity with other compliance and risk management frameworks, such as IRAP, FINRA, SOX, SCF, HiTrust, NIST 800.53
  • Experience and familiarity with cloud data security and working with public cloud solutions (AWS)


This role will be remotebut is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

Approximately <5% travel is anticipated.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $90,000 - $112,000
  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $95,000 - $119,000
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
