We are  seeking a Senior Information Security, Compliance &amp; Risk Specialist, that will keep the legal and ethical integrity of Geotab through policy enforcement and program planning. The Security Compliance Engineer will ensure all departments of our business are complying with the rules and regulations the company upholds. If you are a compliance guru, a team player, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!What you'll do: As a Senior Information Security, Compliance &amp; Risk Specialist, your key area of responsibility will be to support the development of information security policies to achieve the Geotab's security goals. In this role you will provide technical drafts for individual policies addressing Programs, Network Connectivity Security, Wireless Security, Incident Handling, and Password Utilization. You will also need to prepare gap analyses for management regarding policies that will advance Geotab's technology goals and objectives. To be successful in this role you will be a need to be able to work independently and in a team when required, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex security concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will need to have excellent project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects and programs through to completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.
<h3>How you'll make an impact: </h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop deep knowledge of Geotab's security programs as well as our internal systems and data infrastructure, in order to consult effectively on Security best practices.</li><li>Provide information assurance and subject matter expertise as required in support of panels, committees, and working groups.</li><li>Ensures security compliance with legal and regulatory standards.</li><li>Incorporate findings to develop, update, or revise policies and standards for customers.</li><li>Oversee and manage security audits against the systems, processes, and network infrastructure according to existing security policies and standards.</li><li>Collaborate with and advise internal departments to improve on security-related risks.</li><li>Act as a technical mentor/SME to other team members, and act as a point of escalation for more complex issues and initiatives.</li><li>Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.</li></ul>
<h3>What you'll bring to this role:</h3>
<ul>

<li>Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining Geotab’s “IT Security Plan”. </li><li>Responsible for submitting applications for; and maintaining IT Security Accreditations.</li><li>Devise a security plan risk assessment, security tests and evaluations, responsible for developing a disaster recovery plan/continuity of operations plan.</li><li>Conduct internal assessments of cybersecurity risks and vulnerability. </li><li>Work with government assessment teams to enable them to understand and test Geotab systems, develop a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&amp;M) to remediate any deficiencies/vulnerabilities within the specified time frame after detection.</li><li>Develop project plans and schedules and monitor tasks and deliverables.</li><li>Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.</li><li>Develop policies and procedures to support the achievement of the project objectives.</li><li>Coordinate and manage project activities across internal teams.</li><li>Report project status to key project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.</li><li>Conduct project post mortems in order to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations based on findings.</li><li>Provide expert project leadership and guidance to team as SME.</li><li>Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.</li></ul>
