Team Leader - Endpoint Compliance

Here at Datacom we connect people and technology in order to solve challenges, create opportunities and discover new possibilities for the communities we live in.About the Role As Team Leader - End Point Compliance, youwill provide end point vulnerability management and risk mitigation services to our operations customer base including but not limited to monthly Microsoft and Apple patching, Tier 0 and 1 application security patching, feature updates, antivirus console management and distribution of AV signatures to end points. Government security clearance will need to be obtained. This role can lead to a career in IT security.

As Team Leader you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Using tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with SLAs
  • Proactively manage and maintain customer security profile with regard to standard end point management processes
  • Initiate and drive service and process improvement
  • Attain and/or maintain relevant industry or professional certification
  • Be an effective ambassador of Datacom behaving in ways consistent with the Company Values.
  • Engaging collaboratively with internal and external parties
  • Proactively contribute to the team and Datacom’s success

What you'll do

  • Regular application security patching as per vendor and customer requirements.
  • Regular Apple/Microsoft security patching (monthly and Out of Cycle)
  • Monitoring of Antivirus consoles for assigned customers
  • Monitoring and management Application Whitelisting solutions
  • Ensure minor OS Feature updates applied to our customers with no impact
  • Provide Regular and relevant updates to the records of Support and Problem Management processes
  • Ensure all assigned tickets are up to date with detailed descriptions of actions taken and information provided within SLA and at the time of execution.
  • Efficient and effective use of the call management system/s for assigned customers
  • Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (EG: Change/release)
  • Proactive queue management to ensure patch related issues are identified to allow intervention in a timely manner
  • Share experiences and knowledge to improve team competence, by conducting Presentations, Documentation and mentoring other team members.
