This means reliability is built into our processes, systems, tools, and attitude. We live and breathe reliability.We are looking for passionate Platform Software Engineer(s) who really love to R&D and want to delve into building the infrastructural needs of Opsgenie product teams.More about you

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

• Solid foundation in software design, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms
• Expertise with software development in JVM-based languages (Java is preferred)
• Proven understanding of micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development, Refactoring, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, etc.
• Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands-on experience with public cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Core, Security, Web MVC, Cache, etc.)
• Familiar with Devops concepts
• Experience on Network Concepts
• Knowledge of Container and Orchestration technologies
• Real passion for learning from and mentoring your peers to evolve the engineering craft within your team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (with proficient English)

We would prefer you to have:

• Experience designing, building, and operating large systems with scalability, availability, testing and performance requirements
• Experience in common Authentication and Authorization Flows and best practices.
• High Experience on Concepts CI/CD, GitOps, Observability and Tracing
• Real passion for challenges edge problems like cross-account AWS usage, multi-region service managements
• Experience on AWS Cloud Services like DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, EC2,IAM, Elasticsearch and ElastiCache
