Clearance Level: Active DoD - CBP Suitability, DHS Suitability, Active TS

Required Certification(s): 

  • Eligibility/Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active clearance.
  • Clearance Preference:
  • CBP Full BI - 1st priority
  • Any DHS badge + DoD Top Secret - 2nd choice
  • DoD Top Secret + willingness to get CBP clearance - 3rd choice (it can take 45 days to 6 months to obtain a CBP clearance – work can only begin once the clearance is fully adjudicated)
  • Certification Requirement: None

SUMMARYCBP conducts operations in 22 countries, 328 ports of entry, 129 border patrol stations within 22 sectors, and 75 AMO locations. To support its mission, CBP needs a robust, resilient, and high performing enterprise network and supporting services throughout its global footprint. The Network Services Division within the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate (EIOD) provides network services and oversight of the CBP enterprise network infrastructure. The Network Services Division comprises the Network Architecture and Engineering Division (NAED) and Network Operations Division (NOD).

Agile Defense is seeking a qualified Microsoft SharePoint Developer to provide premier support to an CBP program at the enterprise level. A successful candidate will enjoy working with a team of IT professionals to create, update and upgrade the current environment from an on-premise service to SharePoint Online.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Design, enhance, implement, migrate and maintain SharePoint sites and applications ensuring access, reliability, availability and usability to current and new users
  • Develop new SharePoint sites/sub-sites, applications and enhancements
  • Assist with the migration effort of sites, site collections, lists and other related items to a completely online environment
  • Integrate SharePoint with processes, workflows, e-mail alerts, data visualization, relational database management and/or data hub to connect multiple data sources for business intelligence
  • Automate data exports and imports from a database as well as pull data from a database
  • Implement governance to streamline the deployment of products and technologies, reduce support costs, increase ability to retrieve information and increase customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and track utilization metrics
  • Enhance search capability to facilitate knowledge management, knowledge transfer and staff collaboration
  • Develop custom pages using .NET and JavaScript

QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Background, and Years of Experience

  • Education, Skill, and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of a BA or BS degree from an accredited University or College, four (4) years additional (relevant) experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013 and migration to cloud environments
  • Sharegate, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, PowerBI, development of trackers, dashboards, portals.
  • SharePoint Online and Teams architecture experience, Training, Writing Documentation, and Governance Plans.
  • Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, techniques, workflow and Customer Interfacing skills.
  • Experience with .Net and JavaScript development as necessary for the success of the position
  • MS Visio skills. UML modeling experience
  • Experience with Military, Federal or Government Customers
  • System Administration experience
  • Infopath
  • Workflow design, development, troubleshooting
  • Records Management/Knowledge Management
  • Business Process Improvement
  • MS OneNote and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
