Senior Software Engineer in Test - SET

To support our global takeover as the leading sports OTT platform we are looking for Software Engineers in Test who are passionate about testing a modern, scalable, and resilient platform and want to contribute to our mission of pushing the boundaries.  Your team  We are the Monetization Platform at DAZN which gives users access to DAZN membership through flexible offers and purchase models that fit their needs. We manage the services which power DAZN's offers, promotion, revenue & billing capabilities.  We are a backend department primarily working with JavaScript/TypeScript, and NodeJS using AWS services. Our department is around 25+ people and growing. We enable the business to move faster by organizing ourselves on technology/people. As our new Senior Software Engineer in Test, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Manage automated tests for our products with the best software testing practices
• Coordinate with developers and stakeholders to ensure proper definition of stories and appropriate coverage
• Define/Implement test scenarios, strategies, and success metrics for distributed systems in a large-scale volume production environment
• Innovate in the Testing space together with our Test guild and strengthen our quality across
• Lead initiatives as Project Champion
• Mentor other team members

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

• Passion for test automation and Quality aspects.
• Practical knowledge of any programming language (scripting language is a plus)
• Experience writing test plans, defining test strategies Experience working with distributed systems in a large-scale volume production environment
• Proficient experience in backend testing
• Ability to manage CI/CD pipelines – understanding of main concepts and applying different deployment strategies
• Experience testing on Cloud environments (AWS is a plus)
• Monitoring skills – Strong knowledge about monitoring systems, alerting , and different performance metrics

Even better if you also have:

• Knowledge in performance/load testing
• ISTQB Certification
