Senior Security Engineer

Job Duties:

-Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the engineering, design, update, fine tune adjusting, and installation of network analysis framework software, security services and systems, adaptive security appliances, and network monitoring solutions into client environments;

-Maintain high reliability and performance within clients security environments by evaluating new technologies and overseeing its impact in clients environment upon implementation;

-Make recommendations to optimize overall IT infrastructure and systems used in the delivery of the company's security services;

-Have experience with high-level Linux, firewall configuration, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, vulnerability management tools, intrusion detection systems and intrusion prevention systems;

-Create and deploy firewall security policies, Intrusion and Network Analysis Policies and conduct security risk analysis for all security vendor products;

- Experience with IPS/IDS (Intrusion Prevention and Detection System) and Snort rule tuning; and

-Troubleshoot the receipt of events from various data sources logging in and being monitored by SIEM.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (or US equivalent degree) in Computer Science (or substantially similar field) + 24 months experience as Senior Security Engineer or Security Engineer
