The Role

As a Security Devices Head, you will assist the Head of the Office Administration and Security Devices Department in the development and administration of the bank’s Central Monitoring and Calamity Command Center (CMCCC) and the Central Monitoring Station (CMS), including the staff composing it. Also, you will ensure optimum operations of all security devices/alarms/DAS/GPS installed/deployed in all SBC units. Act as Office administration, Vendor Management, and Incident Management (Action Officers).

How you'll contribute

  •  Assists in the development and administration of the technical readiness, efficiency and adequacy of both CMCC and CMS equipment, DAS, other   security devices and personnel to capably address both security and safety issues & challenges besetting the bank and its affiliates the soonest time to ensure better banking service and SBC-wide
  • Monitors operational readiness/appropriate systems configuration of various security and alarm systems such as CCTV Cameras, alarms/sensor systems and DAS--through constant monitoring, health check, testing, maintenance and repairs
  • Assists in the implementation of related security policies and procedures of the Bank and its affiliates. Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Monitors administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning, and management processes 
  • Be available 24 hours a day for genuine emergencies within SBC head office, any of its subsidiaries, cash hubs and branches, and function as help-desk to security related inquiries
  • Assists in the preparation/analysis of periodic and special reports, manual, and correspondence

What we’re looking for

  • Must be a graduate of any four year course
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Above average communication and presentation skills
  • Have working knowledge in policy development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other applications
  • Physically fit
