QA Officer

As our Quality Assurance Officer, you will be in charge of measuring, monitoring, analyzing, and pushing for better quality and act as a focal point for quality-related aspects within the tribe, including recruitment.You will also work with  Quality Officers from other tribes under the testing strategy umbrella, to push your tribe for better test coverage, bugs management, testing tools, monitoring, etc. The goal is to create a Quality Standard which is driven by the testing strategy and provides clear visibility of our quality status for the group to align with the company’s quality strategy.By analyzing the data and measuring our quality, we can better understand where to improve, and with the QO forum, we can discuss how to improve in a way that will include feedback from all PXG groups. Your teamThe “Social Interaction" R&D group is responsible for challenging and revolutionizing the traditional way of watching sports, adding a layer of public chat, influencers, alternative commentators, and moderated public parties with hundreds of thousands of live users, video conferencing pooling, and quizzing. Our platform is available for the majority of devices: web, mobile, TVs, and consoles. Some of the benefits of working with us include a dynamic and challenging work environment, learning and development resources, working with the most advanced technologies, a family-friendly community, the opportunity for flexible working, and full access to DAZN broadcasts.

As our new QA officer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using
• industry-accepted best practices.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying
• industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality
• goals are met.
• Act as the key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Take part In Test Plans reviews and push for quality and coverage
• Verify the tribe aligns with the PXG Testing strategy
• Assists in recruiting new staff, conducting interviews, and evaluating potential candidates
• Prepare appropriate reports to management (big picture, bugs status, test coverage, etc...)
• Oversee release testing cycles and help mitigate risks
• Take part in design reviews at early stages to ensure quality & spot early issues in the design
• Work with other QOs to understand common challenges and solutions
• Facilitate alignment between improvement initiatives and the organization's strategic plan; direct the day-to-day execution of the strategies and tactics necessary to successfully improve the outcomes and results of the quality within the tribe
• Oversee quality review of various applications
• Oversee implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation
• Provide suitable solutions for issues/errors based on the understanding of the system and business processes
• Take part in defining features and component automation tests
• Mentor Test Engineers and share knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions
• Assist in coaching junior staff, by helping them to make decisions, solve problems, manage meetings and set goals, provides feedback on testing-related tasks
• Assist management in setting the direction for quality assurance within the tribe

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

• Experience in testing various applications, services, and user interfaces
• Extensive hands-on test experience within Agile projects, strong understanding of the Sprint, CI, and release testing lifecycles
• Experience with containerized techniques, using Docker, and Cloud-Based Hosting
• Experience in working with microservice architectures and data services
• Strong sense of quality 
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing 

Even better if you have:

• Experience with Jira/Confluence 
• Experience with X-Ray / TestRail
• Experience with Selenium 
• Experience with scripting and/or programming language (Python, Bash)
