POSITION: Senior Cloud Security Engineer
JOB LOCATION: 233 Spring Street, 6th Floor East, New York, NY l0013 [and variousunanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]Senior Cloud Security Engineer needed by Warby Parker in New York, NY [and variousunanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to collaborate acrossengineering teams to improve tools and strategies and promote security. Work withengineering and product teams to develop secure products. Enhance cloud security toensure AWS infrastructure is protected. Work on log aggregation from cloud services.Assess the risk of applications and architectures through threat modeling, build attacktrees, and communicate potential vulnerabilities relative to business impacts. Review andfix AWS services for security issues. Monitor, detect, respond to, and investigate securitybreaches. Develop, maintain, and report key cloud security metrics. Utilize toolsincluding AWS, AWS IAM, and VPCs. Create AWS networking best practices andinfrastructure security practices. Utilize Linux, Cloud, Bash, and Python. Work onapplication security issues utilizing OWASP Top 10, SANS 24, CERT. Working onLambda functions to automate security tasks. Utilize SIEM tools such as Spunk andWazuh. Integrate threat intelligence data and IOC’s with SIEM tool for detection andresponse. Automate the vulnerability management process using PIACT. Work on CI andCD pipeline to detect access key secret. Perform static, dynamic, and softwarecomponent analysis. #LI-DNI
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in CyberSecurity, Computer Engineering, or Information Security and three (3) years ofexperience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupationutilizing tools including AWS, AWS IAM, and VPCs; creating AWS networking bestpractices and infrastructure security practices; working on application security issuesutilizing OWASP Top 10, SANS 24, and CERT; utilizing Linux, Cloud, Bash, andPython; working on Lambda functions to automate security tasks; utilizing SIEM toolssuch as Spunk and Wazuh; integrating threat intelligence data and IOC’s with SIEM toolfor detection and response; automating the vulnerability management process usingPIACT; working on CI and CD pipeline to detect access key secret; and performingstatic, dynamic, and software component analysis.The salary range for this position is $145,600.08 - $150,000.00REFER TO: Job Number: 7093105.
