Network & Security Engineer (Shift)

The role

As a Network and Security Engineer, you're the go-to pro for resolving all escalated network and security tech issues. Your core objective is to restore service for the customer as quickly as is possible and to handle any additional escalation with a personal touch.

Your will:

• Provide remote Level 2 technical support, troubleshoot incidents and resolve within SLAs.
• Follow policies, procedures and work instructions for customer satisfaction and contractual obligations.
• Consult with clients and business on technology availability, capacity, continuity, and functionality.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve problems to optimize systems and minimize risk, document, and implement changes as when necessary.
• Coordinate and manage vendors as needed and ensure accurate documentation in ITSM tool.

Requirements

To succeed for the role, you are best to have:

• Extensive experience in LAN/WAN networks, including Wireless Devices/Tech, VOICE, and Network Security
• Proficiency with Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Dell, and Fortinet products
• Proven track record in Level 2 Managed Network Services Environment, with strong troubleshooting skills and customer support experience
• ITIL Methodology knowledge and understanding.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP a plus
• Customer-focused with an "Obsessed" mentality, "Action" orientation, and a team player mindset
• Systematic approach to problem-solving and top-notch relationship management skills a must.
• Willing to work for rotational shifts.
