We're hiring a Medior security engineer to work for our client on-site once a week in Brussels
We are looking for a Dutch-speaking Medior Security Engineer profile to join the SecOps team who will focus on application security (SAST, DAST, SBOM) next to the standard tasks (analysis and follow-up of security events/incidents and controls). Someone communicative enough to point out errors to developers and engage in dialogue with them.Onsite 1 day per weekDutch speakingAs a Security Engineer you will be responsible for supervising various security projects and operational tasks such as monitoring vulnerabilities and incidents.You will regularly analyze the security systems, detect threats and anticipate them to find solutions. You will help optimize our security environment.You will proactively look for points of improvement (in terms of security) and give security advice to operational IT people, as well as management and business. In addition, you investigate new applications before they are accepted into the landscape.Who are we looking for?As a Security Engineer you have a broad IT background and several years of experience in an IT security role.- You have experience in guiding an IT project from start to delivery or knowledge of project methodologies.- You speak and write Dutch fluently and can give your opinion on new security challenges in a constructive way.- You are critical and enjoy working independently as well as sharing your experience and knowledge within the team.- Furthermore, you are eager to learn and want to continue to grow in the field of IT security through new technologies, larger projects and possibly more towards Governance/Risk/Compliance or towards a role of Security Architect.

- Native Dutch-speaking
- Experience in Application security (SAST, DAST, SBOM) is a must
- Will work with developers so development background is required
- Will investigate new applications before they are allowed in the application landscape
