Junior Security Analyst

We need you!

We are looking for a Junior Security Analyst, to join our Security team and focus on security compliance tasks, such as managing security certifications, responding to customer requests related to security, and administering security tools, such as antimalware software and other related applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security best practices and be able to work collaboratively with other members of the security team and other departments to ensure the safety and security of our systems.

You will:

  • Assist with the management and administration of security certifications, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and others.
  • Respond to customer requests for information related to security and compliance.
  • Help to maintain and administer security tools, such as antimalware software and log management systems.
  • Collaborate with other members of the security team to monitor and manage security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and trends and make recommendations to improve our security posture.
  • Assist in conducting security assessments and audits of our systems and processes.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as IT Ops and Engineering, to ensure that security considerations are taken into account in all aspects of our business.

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a SaaS company.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, such as access control, threat modeling, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with security compliance standards, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and others.
  • Experience administering security tools, such as antimalware software, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
