About the position:
You’d be joining the team working behind the scenes to protect Melio from bad actors; managing the risks that might have adverse impacts on our product, financials and our ability to meet client needs. This includes identifying fraud typologies and red flags indicative of money laundering and other anomalous activity. You’ll help to ensure that the user activity and company processes are in line with industry best practices, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal agreements with financial partners.

Qualifications we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate? You are fascinated by the world of payments. Always thinking of potential compliance vulnerabilities and loopholes, you are able to think big picture even while handling a live payment in the day-to-day. You know the limitations of both manual review and automatic decision logic and understand the challenges at the intersection of automation and manual insights. You have a broad knowledge of compliance regulations in the payments industry and understand the implementation of those on a business level. On game night, you're the one with your head in the rulebook. You’re here to problem-solve rather than criticize existing conditions, and you’re always looking for better ways to do things.
