IT Security engineer (London)

We deliver only the best, so we are always in search of the best people to join our ever-growing talent team. We're in search of a Security Engineer to join our international IT Security Team.As a Security Engineer, your main focus will be to design, implement, and maintain security measures across our organization. You'll collaborate with various teams, including IT, development, and operations, to ensure the integration of security protocols and best practices into our products and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Security Architecture: Design, implement, and review product, service, and infrastructure security. Identify vulnerabilities and propose solutions for enhanced security.
  • Threat Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor security alerts, respond to incidents, investigate root causes, implement containment measures, and perform post-incident analysis.
  • Access Control and Authentication: Manage user access and authentication, including multi-factor authentication, to protect sensitive data and enforce least privilege principles.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Assist in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and industry frameworks.
  • Security Tools and Technologies: Evaluate and implement security tools for improved security operations.
  • Research and Development: Stay updated on security trends, threats, and technologies. Research and propose innovative security solutions.
  • Secure Infrastructure: Collaborate with the infrastructure team to secure cloud environments, container systems, network security, access controls, and identity management.
  • Security Automation: Develop and maintain automated security testing for quick identification and remediation of vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in information security or a related role
  • Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus, encryption, etc
  • Knowledge of network and system security principles, protocols, and practices
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing methodologies, and risk assessment frameworks
  • Familiarity with industry compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
