Information Security Policy Analyst

Do you work with Global cybersecurity teams to assess, guide and rewrite policies and standards? Are you collaborating at all levels within your organization to enhance policies, ensure compliance, and support policy adoption efforts? If this sounds like you, you might be Fivesky’s Information Security Policy Analyst!

Who you are: 

  • 5-7 + years of experience working in cybersecurity with the last 5+ focusing on writing security policies, and, communicating those policies, preferably focusing on IAM. 
  • Proven track record of leading policy development and governance of access technology and information security.
  • Take charge of critical projects, interfacing with people at all levels within the organization.
  • Very knowledgeable when it comes to analyzing security policies for a regulated industry.
  • Exposure to adoption and development of technology policies and standards.
  • A strong communicator with an ability to negotiate and influence others in order to move the project along.

What you will do: 

  • Provide expertise in creating and maintaining policies and standards content.
  • Utilize the FFIEC CyberSecurity Tool to analyze and rewrite policies.
  • Lead discussions with SMEs, policy counterparts, and senior management to enhance policies and standards, based on NIST.
  • Support and contribute to policy adoption through education/training and awareness programs.
  • Assist in monitoring policy compliance across technology divisions.
  • Contribute to centrally coordinated activities such as strategy, planning, project/program management, and management reporting.
  • Develop Policies and procedures, applying the latest industry cybersecurity guidelines
    • NIST SP 800-63 Digital Identity Guidelines.
    • FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool.
    • Cyber Risk Institute's Financial Services Profile.

It would be awesome if you had the following:

  • IAM experience would be a major plus.
  • Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP or GSEC.
  • Tableau or an equivalent analytical program to help as the company moves to systems-based security monitoring.
