The Security Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our resources, specially desktops, and mobile devices. This individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures, troubleshooting security tools, and enforcing security policies and procedures.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.
- Performing vulnerability management.
- Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements.
- Configuring and supporting security tools, such as Anti-Virus, AD and WAF.
What You Need To Succeed:
- Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and practices.
- Familiarity with configuring and supporting security tools like Anti-Virus, AD, and WAF.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
