The Incident Response team is looking for an Incident Coordinator to act as Cruise’s quarterback during critical situations. This individual shall manage and coordinate the response to on-road incidents that may impact our autonomous vehicles “AVs” or our operation. This role will work cross-functionally to ensure the many aspects of the response process are completed and incidents are communicated to the appropriate parties.
What you’ll be doing:
Driving incident response from discovery to resolution for night shift operations.
Owning key response actions including triage, data capture, analysis, reporting, and more.
Acting as a key point of contact and providing guidance to response team partners.
Communicating incidents and crisis events.
When not actively responding to active incidents, helping maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contact lists, conducting incident response training/exercises, and more.
What you must have:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of working experience required.
Ability to support the night shift.
Ability to problem-solve dynamic issues in real-time.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication along with the ability to coordinate and work with many different partners.
Ability to work and act as a leader during high pressure situations.

Ability to analyze or interpret data.
Incident management or operations experience.
Experience working in 24/7 Global Operations Centers or Global Security Operations Centers.
Experience working in fast growing start-up companies.
Experience working in high-impact teams - EMS, Law Enforcement, or Military.
The salary range for this position is $78,300 - 115,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
