What You'll Do
- In this exciting opportunity, some of your responsibilities will include researching information, gathering data, and preparing basic reports or analyses
- Assist in control assessments against the corporate cybersecurity framework
- Review existing policies to enhance and support procedures/processes
- Work closely with management on security practices
- Assess 3rd party vendors for adherence to standards
- Develop routine reports in accordance with GRC metrics. Stay on top of changes in the industry as it relates to security
- Gain cross-functional skills and visibility in all areas of the business from our virtual training sessions, hands-on experience, mentorship program, and access to diverse subject matter experts
- Engage with other interns, leaders across BHG Financial, and the community through lunch and learns, virtual team-building events, and give-back projects.
What You'll Need
- Students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or Cyber Security ( or equivalent work experience in the field of Cybersecurity) graduating in the Fall 2024 or Fall 2025
- Availability between May 2024 – August 2024
- Full-time availability of 40 hours a week (Monday – Friday, 9-6 pm EST – NO Weekends).
- Capable of working efficiently and effectively in a 100% Remote Capacity·
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- The pay range for this position is $23 - $30 per hour; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
