Fortinet Firewall Engineer

Who you are:

• Fortinet NSE 6, 7, or 8 certified (this is a mandatory requirement).
• Led the design and integration of new and exciting Fortinet Firewalls into a complex enterprise environment.
• Understand networking/design which includes things like routing, switching, Ethernet (fiber optics 10/40/100G), F5, TCP/IP, packet trace, and analysis.
• Managed the delivery and inventory of equipment.
• Coordination with the team to prepare all deployment activities.
• Experienced with troubleshooting Firewalls during design deployments.

What you will do:

• Replace and refresh the existing firewalls with new Fortinet Firewall infrastructure.
• Coordination with the team to prepare all pre-deployment documentation necessary.
• Management of Delivery of equipment per schedule. 
• Ensure the new equipment is registered and added to the inventory management System.
• Project Management of Deployment. 
• Testing of the existing Firewall configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents post-migration as needed.
• Coordination of removal and proper destruction of decommissioned Firewall.

• Experience with Network design documentation
