Expert in DevSecOps - 4432

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The expert in DevSecOps will perform the following tasks :

• Plan, implement, upgrade DevSecOps pipelines
• Facilitate the continuous delivery of IT applications by using Application Lifecycle Management and automation tools.
• Promote the usage of DevSecOps methodologies for IT projects.
• Architect and design API Security, Container Security, Cloud Security.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

• Experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems
• Good knowledge in establishing and managing deployment pipeline and release management
• Good knowledge with DevOps container or serverless /orchestration tools (ie: Docker, Terrafom, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Good knowledge in the following programming language: JAVA, Python, Bash,…
• Good knowledge in conducting DevSecOps in an agile work environment
• Good knowledge in cloud security architecture and security requirements
• Good knowledge in black box and white box testing (OWASP, HP Fortify, etc.)
• Good knowledge of continuous delivery and Application Lifecycle Management tools (JIRA, Git, Bamboo, Nexus, etc.)
• Good knowledge with Monitoring tools (Dynatrace)
• Good knowledge in the Cloud (AWS)
• Good knowledge in DB versioning integration (Flyway) Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in mobile application architecture, design and implementation;
• Very good communication skills; · Ability to give efficient presentations to technical and non-technical audience;
• Capability of working in a multi-lingual/multi-cultural environment;
• Very good knowledge of English (both written and oral)
• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability;
• High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in DIGIT A3 contain personal and confidential data

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

• At least 3 years of specific expertise in WebLogic
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Oracle DB development and administrator activities (migration, restore, refresh management)

CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS: Following certificates & standards are required for the performance of tasks: Mandatory certifications (one of):

• Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) certification,
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional,
• Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert,
• Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer,
• or equivalent to be approved by the European Commission
