Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud security solutions that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud environments to detect and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments on cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Provide expertise in the deployment and configuration of security tools and technologies in cloud environments to enhance threat detection and prevention.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud security policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring adherence to compliance frameworks and data protection regulations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective security solutions, leveraging your business analysis skills.
  • Participate in the creation and delivery of security awareness training and educational materials for employees and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on cloud security, providing guidance and recommendations to internal teams and projects.
  • Assist in incident response and recovery activities, working with internal and external stakeholders to minimize the impact of security incidents.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's security posture by identifying areas for enhancement and innovation.

Education and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum Seven (7) years of related experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Proven experience in cloud security, with expertise in working with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis principles, with the ability to gather and document business requirements for security solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in incident response and handling is a plus.

Minimum Eligibility:

  • Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
