You will be responsible for monitoring, researching, and reporting on emerging cyber threats and fraud trends to enable proactive defense strategies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor various security tools and platforms to detect and analyze potential security incidents, such as malware infections, intrusion attempts, and anomalous network activities.
- Threat Intelligence Gathering: Conduct research and gather threat intelligence data from various sources to stay informed about the latest cyber threats and attack vectors.
- Fraud Detection and Analysis: Utilize various tools and techniques to detect and investigate fraudulent activities, such as financial fraud, identity theft, and account compromises.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent behavior or potential risks.
What You Need To Succeed
- Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.) to automate tasks, analyze data, and develop tools.
- Critical Thinking: The ability to dissect complex problems, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights from raw data.
- Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI): Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating threat intelligence to make informed decisions.
