Cyber Security SOC Analyst

This role requires a strong work ethic and desire to learn about cyber threats. Your main job will be to keep our clients safe from cyber-attacks by monitoring customer data, reporting cyber incidents and improving our ability to detect suspicious activity.

We have experts that know the ins and outs of cyber security, these experts will help you grow in this exciting field.

This role will be an afternoon/evening role that will require weekends, with two weekdays off.

Requirements

We’re looking for:

• Excellent Excel skills; Pivot Tables, macros/VBA
• English language skills (both written and oral)
• Professional work ethic, high degree of ownership and accountability
• Ability to learn and keep up to date with cyber threats
• Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals

Not required, but bonus points for experience with:

• Elasticsearch
• Experience with scripting and data analysis (Python)
• Microsoft 365 and/or Microsoft Active Directory administration
• Experience with endpoint protection platforms (Defender, Carbon Black, Sophos etc)
• Experience with IDS/IPS/NSM (Zeek, Suricata, SecurityOnion)
