As we continue on this journey, we require a Cyber Security Education & Awareness Specialist to ensure  awareness of cyber threats, delivering training on the requisite areas of the Security Charter and related standards, whilst creating a strong cybersecurity culture are all critical to meeting our cyber security objectives.  

You will focus particularly on developing and delivering the phishing mitigation part of the Cyber Security Education and Training program, working closely with teams right across the WPP Group. 

You will baseline current state and collate relevant security metrics in order to report upon the success of the program and to advise on where further improvements are needed. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Leads end to end education and training cycle for Phishing Mitigation including but not limited to: Phishing Simulation Activities, Virtual and onsite Phishing Awareness and Training Activities, General Cybersecurity Education, Awareness and Training.  
  • Seeks understanding of departmental needs and dependencies 
  • Educates and advises the firm on security awareness, vulnerabilities, and best practices in relation to Phishing mitigation 
  • Develops training for use across the firm, delivering live education sessions both virtually and in person 
  • Works closely with advisors, operating companies, cyber security teams, and leadership to manage incoming requests and educate on best practices 
  • Monitor and report on progress and where further improvements are required 
  • Contribute data to other relevant dashboards and reports 
  • Ensure that the program meets regulations, standards, and compliance requirements 
  • Ensure that our security awareness program communicates our security policies and requirements so that people know, understand, and can follow them. 
  • Create an engaging and positive program for our people, helping to changing behaviours wherever they are and whatever devices they are using 
  • Continually improve the program to help improve our security culture.   
  • Create a metrics framework that can effectively measure these requirements. 

What you'll need:

  • Three plus years delivering cyber security education and awareness training within a large complex organisation 
  • Exception knowledge of modern cyber security training and awareness methods 
  • Experience of having developed and delivered Phishing Simulation campaigns 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Strong Knowledge of Cyber Security
