Cyber Engagement Team VP – Cyber Security Fusion Center

The Cyber Engagement VP is responsible for meeting with high value Citi clients on cyber security issues, helping to manage Fusion Center technology, and writing analytical reports on ongoing cyber threat activity. The analyst will perform research, monitor cyber security alerts, write and compile reports, create presentation content, and meet in person and virtually with Citi clients on Citi’s cyber security capabilities and the cyber threat landscape. This role can be tasked with a wide array of assignments within the Cyber Security Operations framework. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.

Responsibilities:

• Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to triage, process, analyze, intelligence alerts, reports, and briefings
• Monitor and research cyber threats with a direct or indirect impact to the Citi brand
• Write daily and ad-hoc situational awareness reports on cyber security. Both pertaining to events involving the bank and the world at large.
• Meeting with Citi clients on cyber security issues. This can include presentations on the threat landscape, case studies, and Citi’s cyber defense capabilities.
• Analyze regional threat data and determine a correlation if any, to existing intelligence requirements.
• Operating hacking demonstrations and other Fusion Center products.  
• Assisting in operating Fusion Center technologies including dashboards and our 66-screen video wall.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Ability to be on-site in New York, NY (~3 days a week)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Background in conducting research on technical subjects
• Experience interacting with C-suite executives
• 2-4 years in cyber security-related field or educational program
• Proven influencing and relationship management skills
• Working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Advanced Persistent Threat, Third Party Risks/Threats, Cybercrime, Extremist Groups and Cyber Terrorists, Hacktivism, Distributed Denial of Service attacks, Fraud, Malware, Mobile Threats

Critical Competencies:

• Programming ability a plus, but not required
• Second language a plus, but not required

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
